What was covered

To deliver truly equitable and human-centered education and workforce development systems will require a reimagination of how we teach, learn, and train. Strategies like community-based recruitment and preparation, work-based learning, and community college baccalaureates provide innovative approaches to meeting the needs of educators, students, workers, and employers but require intentional strategies to promote learning, define impact, and pursue scale. New America has built networks around these strategies to mobilize the experience and expertise of diverse stakeholders in order to identify and share best practices, center equity in expansion efforts, and increase collaboration and investment both regionally and nationally.

Join New America’s Amaya Garcia, Iris Palmer, and Taylor White in an exclusive conversation for New America’s partners and supporters to learn more about how our Grow Your Own Educator (GYO) network, rural community college baccalaureate network, and Partnership to Advance Youth Apprenticeship (PAYA) are connecting people to opportunities and equip them with the skills they need to be successful and fulfilled in their work.

New America Board Member

Iris Palmer

Taylor White
