TAP50
A Design + Launch Workshop
You’re invited to the TAP50 Program’s Design + Launch Workshop—a small, invitation-only convening co-hosted by the Environmental Policy Innovation Center (EPIC) and New America Foundation’s New Practice Lab (NPL) and Technology & Democracy Programs.
This event will bring together state water and data leaders, funders, and NGO partners to shape TAP50’s strategic goals ahead of the program’s public launch in early 2027. Building on the work of Duke University and the Internet of Water‘s (IoW) Technology Adoption Program (TAP), TAP50 will build a community of practice to empower states to improve data-driven decision-making across climate, environmental, and public health priorities—and to modernize water data and governance in ways that benefit all communities.
During the workshop, participants will define common water data (and other) delivery gaps, map policy, cultural, technical, and other barriers across states, and hear first hand where innovators are taking new approaches to data, technology, and water governance—and already seeing the benefits.
Join us to help directly shape the priorities, technical assistance (TA) offerings, and future learning agenda for TAP50 ahead of its official launch next year.
